Our efforts in research and development and quality management have made us one of the world’s leading suppliers of yeast extracts, hydrolysates and specialty powders.
Today Ohly has four manufacturing plants. In Hamburg, Germany, we produce yeast derivatives based on baker’s yeast and starter cultures. Our Hutchinson, Minnesota, US site is specialised in the continuous fermentation of Torula yeast for the manufacture of our Torula yeast based flavour ingredients and in Boyceville, Wisconsin, US we manufacture a variety of Torula, brewer’s and baker’s yeast extracts as well as our specialty powders range of products. In our new plant in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, US we produce our Bakon® yeast product range.
