Ohly® KMXT is a low salt yeast extract with a pleasant and intensive meat character. Based on pure yeast extract this product imparts a flavour which is close to a typical meat extract. It is a powder of medium brown colour. It is free flowing and of fine, slightly granular structure.
Applications
Low salt soups and sauces, meat products, flavours and dry seasonings and seasoning compounds. The usage levels range from 0,1 to 0,7 % up to 25 % in dry seasonings.

Ohly® KMXT improves the basic meat impact in a food formulation. It imparts as well as increases existing meat flavour notes in a variety of savoury applications. The low salt content of the products also allows usage in low salt soups, sauces and seasoning blends.
