Provesta® 302 is a non-hydrolyzed Torula yeast-based
flavour ingredient which has an outdoor cooked grill flavour and is
very low in sodium and free of sulfites. Rich in natural flavour
peptides, amino acids, and other important flavour constituents, this
yeast-based product is a non-hygroscopic powder which forms a
suspension in water and oil based formulations. It is microwave stable
in carbohydrate, protein, fat and aqueous systems.
Applications
Meat, poultry, fish, cheese, vegetarian patties, marinades, rubs,
sauces, dips, snacks and seasoning mixes. Especially suited for low fat
and low sodium applications. Usage levels range from 0.25% to 1.0% on
an as consumed basis.
