Provesta® 706 is a yeast based flavour which has a hot
pepper flavour and is very low in sodium and free of sulfites. Rich in
natural flavour peptides, amino acids, and other important flavour
constituents, this yeast-based product is a non-hygroscopic powder
which forms a suspension in water and oil based formulations. It is
microwave stable in carbohydrate, protein, fat and aqueous systems.
Provesta® 706 is manufactured by a proprietary fermentation process using only natural ingredients.
Applications
Seasoning mixes, ethnic foods, snacks, soups, sauces, gravies, meat,
poultry and cheese products. Especially suited for low fat and low
sodium applications. Usage levels range from 0.25% to 2.0% on an as
consumed basis.
