Provesta® 118 is a light tan, water soluble powder that
builds on the properties of yeast extract and provides flavour
enhancing functions similar to MSG.
Applications
Dry blends or dry seasoning mixes prior to use in formulated meat and
poultry products, soups, gravies, sauces, crackers, snack prodcuts,
seasoning mixes, and other applications where replacement of MSG is
desired. Typical usage levels range from 0.25% to 2.0% on an consumed
basis. Replaces MSG at a ratio of 0.6:1 to 1:1 (Provesta: MSG).
