Ohly® BFT is a yeast extract that adds a roasted flavour and meat impression to food applications. In addition it provides an increase in the overall flavour impact of the system and an umami effect. Ohly® BFT is produced using only natural ingredients and is a slightly granular, free flowing, water soluble powder.
Applications
Meat products, sauces and gravies as well as dry seasonings and seasoning compounds. Usage levels range from 0,1 to 1,0 % on an as consumed basis. In seasoning compounds the dosage may go up to 20,0 %.
