Ohly offers a wide selection of flavour tools especially designed for savoury food products. This includes primary grown baker's and torula yeast based flavour ingredients.

Under the original brand name Ohly® we manufacture baker's yeast extracts which are gained through a gentle autolysis process. Flavour active amino acids, peptides, nucleotides and maillard reaction products are released during the process. Baker's yeast extracts are characterised by their diversity of products and variety of flavour notes. Typically used at very low dosages yeast extracts are very efficient flavour improvers. The preferred application areas are premixes, seasoning blends, soups and sauces.

A second group of yeast based flavour ingredients are derived from torula yeast and are well known under the Provesta® brand. A unique processing ensures end products with specific functions and flavour notes. The Provesta® product range includes autolysed yeasts, inactive yeasts and also yeast extracts.

The specialties powder range ProDry is designed to offer flavour ingredients in a powdered form. Specialties powders are alternatives for all applications where dry ingredients are more convenient to use. The product range covers a selection of vinegar powders, a variety of honey and molasses powder and products with very specific flavour notes.

Besides the yeast products and specialty powders we also offer nutritional products, such as trans free water soluble oil powders and water soluble nutritional bases.
