Ohly’s advanced yeast extracts go through particular manufacturing procedures in order to enrich the amount of specific nutrients, which make them suitable for microorganisms with higher demands. They are a complex source of growth factors for starter cultures and for specific microbiological requirements like vitamin and enzyme production and fermentations with recombinant strains.

Ohly® CTT-R is a low salt yeast extract with a well balanced composition of ribonucleotides, free amino acids and peptides. It is free-flowing powder and also has a fine, light granular structure. Ohly® CTT-R is slightly turbid in solution.

Ohly® CMRT is a low salt yeast extract with a well balanced composition of free amino acids, easy available natural peptides and nucleotides. It is free flowing and of fine, slightly granular structure and light yellow to brownish-yellow appearance.

Ohly® CPT is a low salt yeast extract based on autolyzed yeast in combination with enzymatic digestion. The benefit compared to standard fermentation media is a higher grade of easy available peptides and complex nutrients. It is free flowing and out of fine, slightly granular structure and light yellow to brownish yellow colour.

Ohly® CPF is a low salt yeast extract based on autolyzed yeast in combination with enzymatic digestion. The benefit compared to standard fermentation media is a higher grade of Ohly® is extra rich in vitamins. It is of liquid consistence and light to medium brown appearance.
