Ohly® MXV has been designed in order to replace meat extract on a 1:1 ratio. It imparts a pleasant and intensive meat character. The yeast extract improves especially the taste of meat emulsions. Ohly® MXV is available in paste form of soft to highly viscous consistency.
Applications
Soups, sauces, gravies and ready-to-serve dishes. Widely recommended for meat products and meat emulsions in general. The usage levels range from 0,1 to 1,0 % up to 25 % in premixes.
Benefits
Ohly® MXV is a yeast extract based product with no animal derived ingredients. It can be used to replace meat extract at a 1:1 ratio. The basic flavour profile is close to a typical meat extract with good basic flavour improving properties.
