Provesta® 400 and Provesta® 401 are unique natural palatability enhancers produced by a proprietary fermentation process. They are designed to improve the palatability of pet foods and binding of water and fat.
Applications: Use as a palatability enhancers in animal food by direct addition to the basal media, as a dusting, or incorporate into fat or oil as a top coat. The typical inclusion rate as a dusting or top coat will be 0.25 to 1.0%. Inclusion rate in the basal media will depend on formulation and functional requirements.
Benefits: Provesta® 400 and Provesta® 401 increase preference and consumption ratios in pet foods. These unique fermentation products impart a taste and aroma that is naturally attractive to pets. Furthermore their emulsification characteristics improve the binding of water and fat.
