Wine yeasts are produced to a purchase order only. Ohly offers following strains:

PDM (Saccaromyces bayanus) is selected to have a high activity at low temperatures as well as at high alcohol concentration. The aroma is fruity. PDM is best applied for wines with high level of alcohol, sparkling wines and stuck fermentations.

HX (Saccaromyces cerevisiae) is a quick start and high alcohol producing wine yeast with low production of bi-products and foam.

S3 (Saccaromyces cerevisiae) is a quick start wine yeast. The production foam and SO2-binding by-products is low.
